Dear Benefactor,
I would like to invite you to participate as a sponsor of our First Annual Golf Tournament benefiting our parish of the
Church of the Holy Spirit.
As you know, over the past 2 years most businesses and families have suffered from the effects of the COVID 19 pandemic; churches have been no exception.
As a result of the gradual return to normality, the parish’s recovery has been much slower. The church receives its income through donations and/or contributions from parishioners; however, because of the pandemic, parishioners have not fully returned to attend Mass as they did before the pandemic and our support has declined significantly. Unfortunately, expenses in our parish have remained the same, or increased during this time, which has left us with a large financial deficit.
In June, we will be celebrating our parish feast day with the celebration of Pentecost on Sunday, June 5, 2022. To mark this special celebration, and with the support of professional golf players, we are organizing our First Annual Golf Tournament, which will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022, at Canyon Springs Golf Club.
We plan to invite our more than 5,000 parishioners and their families and friends to attend and support this event. We have no doubt that we will be able to attract 100% of the players that are required to have a successful tournament.
We are also requesting the support of sponsors, like yourself, to assist with the event. Your assistance will allow us to cover expenses incurred by the event.
Likewise, our sponsors will be given significant presence and promotion in all aspects of the tournament, i.e., advertising, give-away items, inclusion in the award ceremony, etc.
Having the participation of players and your help as a sponsor, will help to guarantee the success of the event, and our parish community will be able to obtain additional monetary resources to help cover our day-to-day expenses and maintenance projects.
I pray that you will consider helping us with this tournament, and I thank you in advance your time and generosity. May God continue to bless you and your family abundantly.
Sincerely,
Fr. Antonio, González
Pastor
